🎵 Japan Minyo Music Camp とは

Japan Minyo Music Camp（日本民謡音楽キャンプ）は、
日本の民謡を世界の音楽家たちとともに学び、再発見し、
新しい形で表現していく国際音楽交流プログラムです。

しまなみアートファーム（Shimanami Art Farm）が主催し、
民謡クルセーダーズのフレディ塚本、
チリ出身でスウェーデン在住の民謡音楽家で数々の国際音楽キャンプを運営してきたエルネスト・カルデロン、
そして本キャンプの音楽的ビジョンを創出した音楽家の吉田佳代が中心となって運営しています。

私たちの目的は、
音楽を通して「文化の違いを越えて人と人がつながる場」をつくること。
プロやアマチュア、国籍、ジャンルの垣根を超え、
互いに学び、共に演奏し、新しい創造を生み出すことを目指しています。

キャンプでは、民謡や伝統音楽のワークショップ、即興セッション、合宿生活を通じて、
参加者が音楽だけでなく「人と文化を理解する力」を育むことを大切にしています。

この活動が、次の世代へとつながる「音楽と共生の輪」になりますように。

The Japan Minyo Music Camp is an international music exchange program where participants learn about and rediscover Japanese folk music together with musicians from around the world, and express it in new ways.

Our goal is to create a space where people can connect across cultural differences through music.

We aim to transcend the boundaries between professionals and amateurs, nationalities, and genres, fostering mutual learning, collaborative performance, and the creation of new works.

At the camp, through workshops on folk and traditional music, improvisation sessions, and communal living, we emphasize helping participants develop not only their musical skills but also their ability to understand people and cultures.

We hope that this activity will become a “circle of music and coexistence” that will be passed on to future generations🌏🎵
